NSW Chinese Community welcomes H.E. Jia Qinglin
On 10 April 2011, Mr William Chiu, Chairman of ACPPRC, Chairman of Australian Chinese Welcome Committee in Honour of Chairman Jia Qinglin of the CPPCC, together with other leaders of New South Wales Chinese community, organised a welcome luncheon at Shangri-La Hotel in Sydney. About 400 representatives of Chinese community organisations from NSW attend the luncheon.
 

Mr William Chiu made a welcome speech on behalf of Chinese Community of NSW. He said overseas Chinese and people of Chinese origin residing in Australia will continue to support China's economic construction and the peaceful reunification of China, and make constant efforts to promote Australia-China ties and people-to-people friendship.

His Excellency,best replica watches Mr Jia Qinglin, chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, delivered a speech at the luncheon. He told the attendees that his visit to Australia was intended to enhance mutual understanding, expand cooperation on various issues and further comprehensive cooperative relations between the two countries to a new level. He said that Chinese descent in Australia have been working hard all those years to promote local economic development and social progress while contributing much to the people-to-people friendship between the two countries and winning respect from Australian people. Those people also contributed much to China's reform and opening-up efforts and modernisation drive as they are actively engaged in investment in China and supporting Chinese construction and development.
