On the first of March 2015, Australian Council for the Promotion of the Peaceful Reunification of China (ACPPRC) hosted a grand event- 2015 Year of the Ram Gala Evening, Celebrating 15th Anniversary of Its Foundation and 7th Executive Committee Inauguration.

At the banquet, the guests watched a snap shot of ACPPRC's 15 years of achievement.

Mr. Xiangmo Huang, chairman of ACPPRC, delivered a welcome speech. He stressed that for the past 15 years, ACPPRC, led by Dr. William Chiu, has done a great job in promoting the exchanges and cooperation in the fields of economy, culture and education between Australia and China and uniting the efforts of overseas Chinese in promoting the peaceful reunification of China. "Eyes on China" free medical project for 12 successive years has won worldwide acclaims and support. This year ACPPRC continues to further its efforts to strenghten the friendly relationships between the two countries, the lighting of Sydney Opera House in red on the Chinese New Year's Eve is a strong indication of the strong relationship of the two countries. ACPPRC, joining with Yu Hu Group, has donated $743,000 dollars to 8 different institutions or schools at the beginning of this year.

Mr. Huang also extended his warm welcome and sincere thanks to all the guests present tonight.

The Premier made an announcement on behalf of Mr Daryl Maguire MP(absent due to flight delay), Chairman of NSW Parliament Asia-Pacific Friendship Group: The NSW Parliament Friendship Group do hereby bestow on Life Senior Honorary Chairman of ACPPRC Dr. William Chiu JP Honorary Life Membership of the NSW Parliament Asia Pacific Friendship Group, in recognition of his outstanding friendship, commitment and contribution to NSW and the Parliament

Mr. Xiangmo Huang had invited Hon. Gladys Berejiklian MP, H.E. Tang Ying, Hon. Don Harwin MLC, Hon. Bob Carr, and Hon. Andrew Stoner MP to present the Appointment Certificates to Life Senior Honorary Advisors, Senior Honorary Chairmen, Senior Honorary Advisors, Honorary Chairmen, Honorary Advisers, Legal Adviser, Advisers of ACPPRC present on the night.

Mr. Xiangmo Huang presented a piece of Chinese calligraphy to Hon Barry O'Farrell MP, Former NSW Premier, in appreciation of his great support for ACPPRC and Eyes on China project.
